Healing Your Inner Child – What Would You Tell Your Younger Self If You Could Go Back In Time?

Inner Child Healing

We all have regrets about our childhood years. In fact, the majority of us wish that we could go back in time and do certain things differently. So what would you do differently if you had the chance of going back in time? Here are some of the most important things that most of us would love to do differently if we ever get the chance of going back in time.

We all are born with the confidence that all our needs would be met. That is why infants don’t mind crying in the middle of the night – not bothering whether they disturb their parents or not. As kids, our needs are so important to us that we don’t care how they are going to be met, but we are confident that the needs will be met by any means.

But as we grow up, certain things happen to us and we begin to feel that we are not good enough and that our needs are not important. That is why you find so many adults who think that they are not good enough and that they are not important. If I had the chance of going back in time and meeting my inner child, I would tell myself that I an good enough just as I am.

I don’t need to do anything in order to get other peoples approval. In fact, I am enough and I have been enough throughout my lifetime. But toxic comments and remarks by parents, teachers, relations, and society as a whole have dented holes in my self-confidence. That is why I feel that I am not enough as an adult. So, it is important that I go back in time – even now I can do it through visualization techniques – and tell myself that I am good enough and have been that way from my birth.

Not being good enough is a plague that affects more than 99% of the population in the world. All the problems are created in the world because of this plague. When a person feels not good enough, he or she will do anything to impress others and get their approval.

Various addictions – whether food, drugs, sex, or alcohol – are a result of a person not feeling good enough. Hence, it is important that you tell yourself that you are good enough just as you are. You don’t need to do anything or change anything to feel enough. It is your birthright. That is why you should tell yourself that you are enough just the way you are if you can go back in time.

Questions Are More Important Than The Answers

Although our mind thinks that we should know the answers to all the questions, it isn’t the actual case. In fact, asking the right question is more important than the answer to the question. When you ask the right questions, your mind will go to work on them immediately.

In fact, your mind learn by asking the right questions. That is why you should ask more questions than trying to find the answer to a particular question. If you know the answer to the question, it is fine. But even if you don’t know the answer, it is okay to keep on asking the right questions. In case you get a chance of going back in time and meeting your smaller self, you should tell him or her that asking the right question is more important than trying to find the answer to all the questions.

Taking Action Is Important

As adults, most of us don’t take enough action. We have an innate fear of rejection – which makes most of use fearful of taking action. But nothing can come to fruition unless you take action. You might be a great visualizer or a great believer in yourself, but nothing can happen unless you take action on an idea or thought. That is why it is important that you prepare yourself to take action – no matter what the outcome would be. Learn while you go, but don’t forget to take action when necessary.

If you can go back in time, you should convince yourself of the importance of taking action in a timely manner. If not, you won’t become successful – no matter what you do.
