When I first saw the gameplay of BattleBit: Remastered I assumed it was a Roblox game. However, after reading one of the FAQ questions, I was personally surprised with the answer. At a distance, it does share the aesthetic of a Roblox experience, and the clunkiness contributes to the aesthetic. However, the actual developer leaves some confused. If you want to discover the burning question about who made BattleBit: Remastered, you should read on.

BattleBit: Remastered: Who made it?

As I was searching around for who made this indie shooter that borrows from Battlefield and Roblox, there wasn’t a clear answer. However, what I found is that the game is made up of just three people. This is rather insane because the performance of the game feels like it’s a triple-A shooter.

A game with the scope and mechanics of a Battlefield game should have a larger team. But SgtOkiDoki, Larry, and Vilakis seem to have everything under control. This is quite impressive for the trio mainly because BattleBit: Remastered is dominating the Steam charts as of late. The low-res polygon style and the simple objective-based match design have caught everyone’s attention.

Making a game that is executed this well by just a team of three members on paper looks like it could fall short. However, BattleBit: Remastered is everything that Battlefield 2042 was trying to be, and that is being a massive open-world shooter, with a somewhat easy learning curve. The best part about BattleBit: Remastered is that the game works — and it works well. On top of that, there are no microtransactions at the moment. Put those things together, plus with how BattleBit Remastered plays, and you got something genuine.

Borrowing elements from Battlefield, such as changing loadouts and healing, then mixing the art style of Roblox, you get something genuine.

BattleBit: Remastered is a great example of how you don’t need thousands of developers in order to make your game work. You just need a good and easy concept to execute.
